Welcome to Petstock Vet Rouse Hill! Job Opportunity: We are seeking a veterinarian with 2 years’ experience to join our expanding team, on a permanent basis. Work in a purpose built clinic, with a great positive culture, and a team that looks forward to coming to work and making a difference each day. Well respected within our community, we have wonderful clients and fantastic professional relationships with other local veterinary teams. Our case load is predominantly small animals, with some occasional exotics (mostly rabbits for routine care, or birds for wing clips). We do also have our nearby sister clinic in Dural, for support of rabbit cases, if needed. Our roster is flexible accommodating you as an individual alongside a balance of consulting and surgery shifts. We strive to protect your work-life balance, with regular working hours, limited overtime, no after hours, on call or public holidays. We also have multiple emergency hospitals located near by. We are open to discussing full-time or part-time opportunities. What you can expect: A generous nurse to vet ratio, with an average of 3:1, sometimes 4:1, depending on case load. A team of heavily experienced nurses, who routinely assist with nurse consults, ear cleans, anal gland expressions, nail clips, post op checks, dental radiography, blood collection/pathology and catheter placement. A supportive management team. An expanding surgical suite, which includes electrosurgery and orthopedic options. IDEXX pathology machines and in-house ultrasound.
